Hermes, the consumer courier delivery specialist, has offered both its clients and the consumers of their clients a money back guarantee on deliveries not made in the build up before Christmas.
This will be the 5th year that Hermes has made its ‘Hermes Guaranteed Christmas Delivery Promise’ which helps retailers avoid disappointment by ensuring they have stock in and that purchased goods are delivered on time.
The scheme applies to all parcels that enter the Hermes System with a UK Mainland address. Parcels must however be received by 23:59 on Thursday the 21st of December. The terms ensure that at least one delivery attempt will be made on ever purchase made on the build up to Christmas. If the delivery is not made, then Hermes will refund the cost of delivery.

Martijn de Lange, Managing Director at Hermes, said: “Planning for the peak season is a year-long process and we use this time as an opportunity to consistently strengthen our network to ensure our customers receive the best levels of service. This includes the recent opening of our £31m Midlands Super Hub in Rugby, which can process in excess of one million parcels a day. We have full confidence in the capability of our network and we are therefore happy to make this guaranteed commitment to our valued retail clients.”
